I’m trying to study for my English course and I need some help to understand this question.

Write a brief summary about the reading passage assigned for homework.

Your summary should be one paragraph and include:

a. name of author

b. title of article (use italics— this is proper MLA 8 format, and bold or ALL CAPS or ” ” is incorrect)

c. main idea (what was the topic the author focused on, and what was the author expressing?)

d. details that prove the main idea or that you thought were interesting
