However, the etiology of it is not well understood and there are no effective treatments. What would you suggest for decreasing the risk to AD, slowing the rate of AD or living with AD? How are the families of AD patients affected and what would you suggest to lessen the physical and emotional stress of caring for an AD older patient? How can this issue be addressed at a societal or community level to reduce the risk of AD or assist those with AD?
2. Assume that you are a physician who primarily sees older adults. How would you diagnose depression and anxiety and which treatments do you think are the most effective and why?
