This option entails describing policies governing the receipt and/or delivery of infertility treatment in your U.S. state of residence; identifying stakeholders weighing in on this issue; assessing demand for infertility treatment services among state residents; and characterizing access to these services in your state.

Option One Task:

What are the relative costs and benefits (to employers) of making infertility treatment available to their employees? Although you are not expected to conduct a full blown cost/benefit analysis, your response to this question should rely heavily upon the peer-reviewed literature reporting the findings of cost-benefit analyses on this issue. (NOTE: You need not base this particular discussion upon state-level information.) Please limit your response to 1 page.
