Story Angle- People should be evaluated by multiple doctors before getting prescribed any opioid.
Story idea- The rate of opioid overdose in NJ is 3x the national average right now. Having people get evaluated by more than one doctor I believe would be more beneficial to assure they the patients aren t addicts looking for a quick fix. Some doctors are crooked and will prescribe patients due to profits. If multiple doctors are required to evaluate a patient then there could be a lower chance a patient could be wrongly prescribed.
