Leadership Ethics Paper
Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to: a) identify and articulate a specific ethical issue in a practice area (CO #5), b) provide practical leadership strategies to aIDress the issue (CO #3), and c) communicate ideas in a clear, succinct and scholarly manner (CO#1).
Course Outcomes
Through this assignment, the student will demonstrate the ability to:
(CO# 1) Analyze leadership qualities that reflect motivation, advocacy, negotiation, and the management of diversity. (PO6)
(CO# 3) Develop leadership strategies that strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and multi-agency partnerships. (PO 12, 3, 5, 10)
(CO# 5) Incorporate professional role development, values, and ethical principles into the role of the nurse leader in education and health care systems. (PO2, 5, 10)
