Instructions
For this task, imagine that the instructor at a local community college’s Introductory Psychology course has invited you to deliver a presentation on the multicultural viewpoint on developmental psychology.
Prepare a lecture that addresses the following:
You may prepare your lecture as an audio file and upload it to the course room, accompanied by a transcript of the lecture; or, you can upload only the lecture transcript. Check the supplemental readings in this course for appropriate and interesting resources to support your lecture.
Be sure to present a reference list that includes at least one scholarly reference.
In making your lecture engaging, you may depart from usual writing form and organization and choose to use anecdotes, humor, or other speaking tools; be sure, however, to cite your sources appropriately in the print version of the lecture that you submit. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
If you choose to record your lecture upload it to your course instructor in MP3 format; this file must not exceed 8mb. An average lecture tends to be 100 to 150 words per minute.
Length: 4-6 pages
Your finished lecture should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your work should also reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
Upload your document and click the Submit to Dropbox button.
