€¢ Discuss the challenges of and/or barriers to the current HIM framework and/or vendor(s).
€¢ Identify the current needs of the organization’s HIM and the standards associated with those needs.

Recommendations for New HIM Framework€“This section should include:
€¢ Explore vendor solutions based on the healthcare organization, the healthcare information standards, and the current federal guidelines governing healthcare information systems.
€¢ Recommend a minimum of 1 new vendor solution based on the review of vendors .
€¢ Identify the major features, cost, and necessary resources associated with the new vendor solution.
€¢ Describe the value of the vendor (e.g., reduced rework, streamlined processes, etc).
€¢ Identify new or potential security risks (e.g., protecting patient confidentiality and privacy) associated with the new vendor solution.
