I’m studying and need help with a Sociology question to help me learn.

I have attached 4 Articles,

I have also attached an Example of the Annotated Bibliography how the professor wants it to look

When writing your annotated bibliography, please use Times New Roman, 12 pt font, black ink. You do not have to double space for this assignment. I expect detailed answers for each section – in other words, you will need to read the entire article and not just the abstract. To give you an idea, I would guess that each article should take up at least one (1) full page single-spaced (see example posted on the course page).

Here are the questions that need to answered

II. What is the goal or purpose of this study (from Introduction)?

III. What are the hypotheses (from Introduction)?

IV. Sample characteristics (from Method)?

a. Demographic information?

b. Sample size?

V. Variables – operationally defined (most likely from Intro or Method)

a. Independent*

b. Dependent*

*This will depend on the type of study conducted in the article. If it was correlational, you should just include a clear operational definition of the variables. If it was experimental, you should specify independent and dependent variables.

VI. Procedure (summarized)

e.g., observational, paper and pencil measure, what measures were used, etc.

VIII. Notes to Self – how will I use/integrate this article in my introduction? Does it support or refute findings in another article I am using?
