When reading/listening/viewing non-fiction and informational texts, is it the readers job to question the text or does responsibility for truthfulness and accuracy rely solely to the text and those who authored it? On page 43, Beers and Probst ask, “What’s the result for our society if we fail to raise readers who are both responsive and responsible?”
