1. A patchwork text, which should not exceed 3000 words in length IN TOTAL. The patchwork text will consist of up to 3 different pieces of work, the details of which will be discussed in class and posted on the VLE. Each part will aIDress the different learning outcomes so that all are covered by the complete patchwork text portfolio, demonstrating a clear grasp of the material covered in the module which will be enhanced by further reading of appropriate literature. Students are advised that the work should approach the upper word limit in length.

2. A workbook completed by the student. The purpose of this is to demonstrate that the student has understood the material covered in the module as a whole. It will consist of a series of multiple choice and short answer questions that will include demonstrating practical skills in epidemiology and basic statistics.
