1. The foundation of your assignment is the selection of either the Balance Sheet or the Statement of Operations financial statement. YOU ARE GOING TO CREATE A FINANCIAL STATEMENT

2. Complete your chosen financial statement using the accounts below:

Note: You will not use all of these accounts in your chosen financial statement. You will need to calculate some of the numbers for your statement. Follow proper form as described and shown in

the text. Assume all net assets at the beginning of the year are unrestricted.

3.   Write a five paragraph essay on the:
a.   Why you chose the financial statement you selected
b.   Purpose of the financial statement
c.   Advantages of the financial statement
d.   Disadvantages of the financial statement
e.   Users of the financial statement
4.   Length:
a.   Minumum of 4 pages including title page, essay, financial statement and reference page.
b.   Maximum of 6 pages including title page, essay, financial statement and reference page.
c.   Points will be deducted for not meeting the length requirement. It is harder to write concisely rather than to ramble on in a paper. Quantity does not equal quality. Most business
