Need help with my English question – I’m studying for my class.

This project provides objective ways of measuring business regulations and their enforcement across 190 economies and selected cities at the subnational and regional level. The project, sponsored by the World Bank, looks at domestic small and medium-size companies and measures the regulations pertaining to them throughout their life cycle.

If you were to start/expand a business in these countries, there are legal and regulatory issues to consider.

Choose two countries.

Go to http://www.doingbusiness.org (Links to an external site.) and look for annual reports (2015 – 2018). Use the most recent report you can find.

• Why did you choose these two countries?
• Compare and contrast their economies, populations, businesses, etc.
• Detail the ease of doing business in each country, in light of policies, regulations, and laws.
• Identify any laws of protection for both consumer and producer.
• Have these business regulations changed over time – becoming more or less stringent?
• What kind of a business would you want to start in each country?

Add any graphs, charts, tables, etc. to bolster your arguments. Add any pertinent comments.
