BUSINESS LAW GROUP PROJECT

Our approach to learning Business Law this semester is to understand the major concepts of business law, and then apply them to actual business situations. For your legal research project, you will investigate in-depth a specific legal topic and report on your research in a comprehensive paper. The goal of this paper is to give you the tools you may need in your career when you face a legal issue. You’ll want to do some preliminary research before determining if you should speak to an attorney or utilize alternative dispute resolution techniques.

Plagiarism:

All work must be in your own words, only ONE quote in the entire paper. All remaining work must be paraphrased. Cite your sources using MLA in-text citations and a citation page. Plagiarized work is not reviewed or graded.

Final Paper Submission:

The final paper must consist of at least 7 sources.

Report Parts: Introduction, define law, discuss and evaluate article(s), review and evaluate law case review, impact on businesses, and conclusion

Finally, compose a 4 to 5 pages double-spaced paper based on your outline. Also include a citation page, not included in the 4 to 5 pages. Be sure to follow the writing and academic integrity guidelines. Don’t copy or quote your sources! Your paper can only have one quote or no more than three sentences. The remaining work must be paraphrased. Your paper must include MLA in-text and a citation page. You will submit your assignment to Canvas, and it will be submitted to a plagiarism detection software. Groups will submit ONE paper per group with all group members listed on the first page. Assignment worth 100 points.
