Mechanism of the problem €“ what physiological effects are occurring in/on/to the body
Signs and symptoms €“ items that might assist in diagnosis
Secondary complications €“ aIDitional effects that might occur secondary to the primary problem
Prognosis €“ long term direction, outcome of the disease, including possibility of elimination or cure
Prevention/Treatment/Management €“ possibility of avoiding, minimizing, or eliminating the problem
