Bias and Ethical Reporting of Results
In the debate on the costs and benefits of using test scores to render decisions, opponents of tests have pointed out the intrinsic and extrinsic biases inherent in many tests. In addition, when reporting test results, ethical standards require that a test administrator disclose the properties along with the limitations of the tests they use.
