My rough draft just needs to be edited, polished, and fleshed out. Below I will paste my professors specific feedback for my final edits.
“You have created a strong argument and a good analysis of the sources. What is still missing is connecting the analyses of the sources to the argument. Just demonstrating that they represent certain topics or people in a certain way is not enough to prove the argument. Do you have data to show that the propaganda did exactly what you are claiming? Also, part of your argument is that the governments used it in this way. Do you have evidence to demonstrate that the governments had specific agendas and propaganda departments created to achieve these goals?
These are the types of historical details that will be necessary to defend the argument that you establish. Right now, you have some good source summaries and analysis of their message. The next step is to connect this analysis to the actual historical impact that you are arguing occurred.”
