As you analyze your assigned company, you should understand the internal and external factors which could influence the success of the organization. A typical way for an organization to analyze these factors is using a Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. Corporate leadership can use the SWOT analysis, to successfully identify what the strengths are, what the weaknesses are, what opportunities arise, and what threats may exist.
A way we can use the SWOT analysis, as a management tool, is through a business strategy. A business strategy is simply how an organization plans to stay competitive in the market. By identifying its strengths and opportunities, an organization can keep its competitive advantage through fine-tuning its strengths and considering how potential opportunities can be made into strengths. Essentially, the organization is doing what it can to make sure its strengths stay strengths, but no real or significant change is occurring. Strengths and weaknesses are internal to the company and opportunities and threats are external. It is now time to take an analytical look at the company: its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Your deliverables include:
SWOT analysis matrix using the template provided.
Written justification for each factor you included in your matrix. Justification should be supported by scholarly evidence (i.e. peer-reviewed journal articles; 10K report, etc.). For criteria that could include data as evidence, calculations should be incorporated into your analytical write-up.
Your written analysis will be a 3 page; APA formatted MS Word document.
