students will select and participate in three activist activities. For each activity, students will generate a brief reflection on the issue explaining their interest in the topic and making at least three clear, analytical connections to a concept and/or reading in class.
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) encourages people to engage in what they call two minute activism—one minute to read and one minute to act—and send emails and texts to their legislators to fight for equal pay, family leave, stopping sexual harassment, equality in education and more. (See: https://www.aauw.org/act/two-minute-activist/.)
The document attached will have the rubric for each of the activists.
You are to have 3 different activists. Each will have their own document.
